The US Global Hub of Future Earth, in collaboration with the Science and Technology for Sustainability Program at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Health, is hosting a series of dialogue events with US sustainability research and innovation leaders from different sectors, to explore the status and future of sustainability science in the US.
In 2019, we hosted two cross-sector dialogues, each with 20 to 30 leaders that cross disciplines and sectors (see participants). We focused on the frameworks through which we are and should be supporting sustainability science, and our methods for linking research, innovation, and technology communities.
We are now working to expand these dialogues, and produce a roadmap to guide investments within the US sustainability system.
